Why Charlotte Pixels
I’m a real estate investor, an Airbnb Superhost, and I’ve been doing architectural photography for 15+ years. When I walk into your space, I already understand what guests are looking for — because I’ve been one.
I take on a limited number of shoots. Whether you found me on Google, through a referral, or a Facebook recommendation — every property gets my full attention, not a rushed turnaround.

★★★★★ on Google
Hari brings life to whatever you want to capture, with his truly spectacular photography skills and detailed eye. Having worked with several folks over the years, it is refreshing to meet someone like him who just gets it on a higher level. While many create wonderful photos with artificial lighting, Hari’s use of natural light is simply just stunning. I personally would not have been able to share renovation work I had completed, with the same confidence, had he not been behind the lens.
Local Expertise
I’m Hari, a Huntersville Airbnb photographer who knows what makes guests book. I’m an Airbnb Superhost, a real estate investor and an architectural photographer with more than 15 years behind the camera, and I photograph every rental the way a guest will judge it.
Huntersville sits between Charlotte and the south end of Lake Norman. Guests get the lake, Birkdale Village and an easy drive into the city without paying lakefront prices. Your listing photos should make that trade-off obvious within the first few images.

Huntersville draws a mix of guests, and each one scrolls for something different.
Families visiting relatives want enough beds, a real kitchen and a backyard where the kids can play.
Wedding and event guests book in groups, so they compare sleeping arrangements before anything else.
Lake visitors want to be close to Lake Norman and its boat launches, but many prefer a quieter, better-value base than a lakefront home.
Business travelers and relocating professionals often stay for weeks and look for a proper workspace, good Wi-Fi and easy self check-in.
Seasonal demand adds to all of this, from summer lake season to fall weekends at the Carolina Renaissance Festival.
Guests decide in seconds, usually from the first five photos. For Huntersville listings I lead with the shots that answer the big questions: how many people sleep comfortably, where everyone gathers, and what the outdoor space looks like. Then I cover every bedroom, bathroom and the kitchen, plus a few detail shots that make the stay feel cared for.
I work with natural light whenever I can, so rooms look bright and true to life. Guests should walk in and find exactly what they saw online. That’s how listings earn five-star reviews instead of “it looked bigger in the pictures.”
Real estate photos are made to sell a house to a buyer. Airbnb photos have to make a guest picture their stay. As a Superhost, I see which photos move bookings because I watch the numbers on my own listings. I see firsthand how much the first few photos shape the way guests respond to a listing.
When I walk through your rental, I think like your next guest. What will they notice first? What will make them choose your place over the three other listings they have open?
As a Huntersville Airbnb photographer, I photograph short-term rental homes all over town, whether yours is near Birkdale Village, in Skybrook, Northstone or Vermillion, or close to Latta Nature Preserve and Mountain Island Lake. Every shoot focuses on your property itself: the interiors, the exterior and your outdoor spaces. I also work across the rest of the Lake Norman area, including Cornelius, Davidson and Mooresville, so if you host more than one property, one photographer keeps all your listings consistent.
Working with me as your Huntersville Airbnb photographer is simple.
1. Book a date. Pick a time that fits between turnovers. I’ll suggest the best time of day for your home’s light.
2. Get the home ready. Follow my guide on how to stage your Airbnb for a photoshoot: clear the counters, make the beds tight and open every blind.
3. Shoot day. I photograph every room, the exterior and the outdoor spaces, plus the small details guests love.
4. Delivery. Fully edited photos usually arrive by Dropbox within 24 hours (48 at most), ready for Airbnb, VRBO or your direct-booking site. Payment is due on shoot day, before editing begins.
The dusk exterior is often the photo guests save. Instead of a separate evening shoot, I offer twilight conversion: I turn a daytime exterior into a warm evening scene with glowing windows and a soft sky. It looks natural, it sells, and it costs far less than a second visit.
Pricing is based on square footage. The Pro package is $300 for homes up to 1,000 sq ft, and the Signature package is $825 for homes up to 2,000 sq ft, plus $35 for each additional 100 sq ft. Both include professional editing, with photos usually delivered within 24 hours. Twilight conversion and grass replacement are available as add-ons.
See every detail on the pricing page.
Great photos work harder when they’re used well. Put your strongest image first, usually the main living space or the best exterior. Follow it with a bedroom, the kitchen and any standout feature, like a fire pit or a game room. Add a short caption to each photo so guests know which room they’re looking at.
Refresh your cover photo with the seasons, too. A bright summer exterior or a twilight shot in winter can lift clicks without changing anything else. Every photo I deliver is edited and publish-ready, so you can use it on Airbnb, VRBO and your own website.
If your listing photos are a few years old, were taken on a phone, or don’t show off your best features, new photos are one of the fastest ways to lift clicks and bookings. Read the reviews below, check the questions hosts ask most, and book your shoot with a Huntersville Airbnb photographer who hosts, too.
The Huntersville rental market
Huntersville draws families visiting relatives, wedding and event guests, and lake visitors who want a quieter base than Cornelius. Bedroom count, backyard space and the short drive to Lake Norman matter most.

Every question is worth asking. Here are the ones I hear most — answered straight.
Lead with what Huntersville guests care about most: how many people the home sleeps, where the group can gather, and the outdoor space. Families, wedding guests and lake visitors all compare those first. After that, every bedroom, bathroom and the kitchen, plus a few detail shots that show the stay is well cared for.
Yes. I photograph lake homes and near-lake rentals all around Lake Norman, including Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville and Denver. Lake listings get extra attention on docks, decks, water views and evening light, and twilight conversion is available as an add-on.
Both the Pro and Airbnb Signature packages: 24–48 hours. Photos are delivered via a Dropbox link — download directly, upload straight to your listing. No chasing, no follow-ups. Payment is due on the day of the shoot before editing begins. Once that’s confirmed, the edit queue starts immediately.
This is one of the most important things you can do before shoot day. Staging matters more than most hosts realize — even the best photography can’t fix a cluttered countertop or a bed that isn’t made properly. The camera sees everything. I wrote a full guide on exactly what to do before I arrive: How to Stage Your Airbnb for a Photoshoot. Read it before your shoot day. Seriously.
Real estate photography is designed to sell a property to a buyer. Airbnb photography is designed to make a guest book before they even finish scrolling. Completely different goals. Real estate wants clean, neutral, and accurate. Airbnb wants warm, inviting, and experiential — it needs to make someone feel like they’re already there. The framing, the lighting approach, the choice of what to include and what to leave out — all of it shifts when the audience is a guest, not a buyer. If your listing looks like an MLS photo, it’s going to compete with every other listing. If it feels like a place someone wants to escape to, it stands alone.
Rather than scheduling a separate twilight shoot — which means more coordination, more time, and more cost — I offer twilight conversion as an add-on. Daytime exterior photos are converted into evening scenes with warm glowing windows and a beautiful sky. The result is realistic, effective, and a fraction of the cost of a separate twilight session.
Every single host I’ve worked with has seen improvement after the shoot. Guests decide in seconds. The photo either stops the scroll or it doesn’t. Professional vacation rental photography isn’t a guarantee, but it removes one of the biggest barriers between a potential guest and a booking. The listing does the selling — you just have to show up. Read more about why it matters.
Head to the booking page and fill out the short form. Takes about two minutes. If you have questions before committing, use the contact form — I get back to you the same day.
I regularly shoot across the entire Charlotte metro: Uptown, Plaza Midwood, NoDa, South End, Ballantyne, Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville, Lake Norman, Concord, Harrisburg, Kannapolis, Waxhaw, Monroe, Matthews, Mint Hill and Gastonia. I also travel to Statesville, Troutman, Lincolnton and Rock Hill, SC. See the pricing page for details, and if you’re farther out, just ask.
There’s no fixed photo count — because that’s not how I work. The goal is to capture everything your listing needs to tell its story, not hit a number and stop. Smaller properties under the Pro package get complete coverage for the space. Larger homes under the Signature package get every room, every angle, every detail that matters — shot until the property is properly represented. What you won’t get is a set of 20 identical wide-angle frames that all look the same. What you will get is a gallery that covers the space the way a guest would experience it — from the moment they walk in to the corner they’d curl up in on a Sunday morning.
