This commercial real estate photoshoot was all about documenting the construction progress of a daycare facility in Charlotte for Alvakanda Construction Company, a highly regarded firm specializing in both residential and commercial projects. Led by husband-and-wife general contractors Julie and Selvin, Alvakanda has built a strong reputation in Charlotte for their exceptional work in real estate construction.
Being in real estate myself, I understand the level of execution required for a project of this scale. The site was nearing completion, and my goal was to capture its current state while also focusing on detailed contractor shots. At the time of the shoot, the painting crew was finishing up, but I couldn’t help but notice the precision in the HVAC work, siding, and electrical installations.
To provide a comprehensive visual update, I also took drone shots to showcase a top-down perspective of the site and had the privilege of capturing dynamic photos of the couple behind this incredible project.
