What mid-term guests look for in the photos
Someone booking 30 days or more studies a listing differently from a weekend guest. They want to see a kitchen they can actually cook in, a bed that looks good for a month of sleep, and a living area that feels like home after a long shift. So this gallery leads with the open main floor and the kitchen island before it moves to the bedrooms.
Working with high ceilings and natural light
The high ceilings and white board-and-batten walls give this townhome an open, airy feel, and the photos needed to keep it. I shot the main floor from corners that show the living room, staircase and dining area together, kept every vertical line straight and balanced the bright windows against the interior so nothing looks blown out. The dark fireplace wall became the anchor that holds the living-room shots together.
The details that make a long stay feel like home
- A round dining table under a rope pendant, set for everyday meals.
- A black arched cabinet and botanical prints that give each room character.
- Bedrooms with textured pillows, bolsters and warm lamps on both nightstands.
- Kitchen seating at the island, which matters to guests who eat in most nights.
