A Cozy Classic in Plaza Midwood
Some homes do not need to be fancy to be loved by guests. This Plaza Midwood house is modest in size but full of warmth, and it reminded me of my own first Airbnb. The blue exterior with white trim, a front porch, and lots of greenery makes a great first impression, and the inside keeps that same relaxed feeling.
What the Photos Show
- A blue house with a white porch, brick steps, and a wooden side gate
- A living room with a stone fireplace, a TV over the mantel, and a soft gray sectional
- Warm hardwood floors and ceiling fans throughout
- Two bedrooms with matching styles, white bedding, textured pillows, and highland cow prints
- A small desk in one bedroom for guests who need to work
- A kitchen with wood cabinets, granite counters, and pendant lights
- A sunny dining area with a farmhouse table and benches by a sliding glass door
- A bathroom with a soaking tub and a wood vanity
Telling a Consistent Story
Both bedrooms were styled in a similar way, which is great for guests who want to know everyone gets an equally comfortable room. I photographed them from matching angles so the listing feels cohesive, then added a few detail shots to show the art and textures that make each room feel cozy.
The fireplace is the heart of the living room, so I made sure it was the anchor of the main shots. It is a feature guests often search for, especially in the cooler months.
