Where do I even start? This Airbnb photoshoot was one for the books.
A newly built 5-bedroom, 2.5-bath home with a standard layout on paper—but what made it stand out wasn’t the floor plan, it was the host and his incredible team. Every inch of this place felt intentional. For once, I actually was conscious and had to use the full 15mm point of view and still felt strong about my composition. And trust me, that’s rare.
If you know architectural photography, 15mm is extremely wide. Most homes lose their sense of proportion with that lens. But not this one. The setup was so well-designed, the symmetry and flow practically demanded that wide perspective. From the bold feature walls and perfectly chosen furniture to the interior designer’s touch that tied it all together—it was a visual feast.
The host even flew in from New York just to be present for the shoot, making sure everything looked flawless.
The backyard? Simple but special. With automated string lights, a hot tub, a fire pit framed by triangle string lights, outdoor dining, grill, and games—it’s ready-made for evenings that make you forget you’re in suburbia.
Inside, the attention to detail continued: wallpapers, linens, amenities, and décor that scream quality.
We spent nearly three hours shooting—a record, even for me. And yes, the photo count easily topped some multi-million-dollar homes I’ve shot.
But when a host cares this deeply, it’s only right that every detail shines. This was more than just a photoshoot—it was a collaboration between vision, passion, and a relentless eye for perfection.
So yeah, maybe the OCD for host and myself kicked in—but when every photo looks like a magazine cover, I’d say it was time well spent.
