The Gears That I Use For All Real Estate Photography
If there is one camera that you’d need for both photography and video, I absolutely recommend investing in Canon 5D Mark IV. You’d be glad you did. Color Science of this camera is usually compared to 100k+ Arri cinema camera, and I have personally upscaled the 1080p of this footage to match with my RED 4k footage for a music video and you wouldn’t be able to tell a difference.
There are so many wide angle lenses in the market. But this Sigma Art lens for Canon is not only the very best lens you’ll find for real estate architectural photography but also the most beautiful lens that you will fall in love with. It has the very low to no distortion, and sharp edge to edge, produce beautiful images. It has a very sweet spot to meet both traditional real estate extreme wide angle lens photography as well as tight creative shots for airbnb listing photography. This is my go to lens for all my architectural photography needs except for the detail shots.
This is one of my most favorite all around lens that I use. It has zero distortion, and give a best human eye point of view. But every single time, I always wish I could go little wider. I love working with that limitation, which pushes me to find the best perspective of the space. I always contemplate with myself between this vs. the extreme wide angle. For my own photography needs, I would prefer to use this lens over other wide angles.
