Why Charlotte Pixels
I’m a real estate investor, an Airbnb Superhost, and I’ve been doing architectural photography for 15+ years. When I walk into your space, I already understand what guests are looking for — because I’ve been one.
I take on a limited number of shoots. Whether you found me on Google, through a referral, or a Facebook recommendation — every property gets my full attention, not a rushed turnaround.

Local Expertise
I’m Hari, a Kannapolis Airbnb photographer helping hosts keep up with a city that has changed a lot in the last few years. I’m an Airbnb Superhost, a real estate investor and an architectural photographer with more than 15 years behind the camera, so your listing photos are built to win bookings, not just look nice.
Kannapolis grew up as a mill town and has spent the last decade rebuilding its downtown around West Avenue, the NC Research Campus and Atrium Health Ballpark, home of the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers. Rentals here range from renovated mill houses to newer family homes, and many hosts compete with the bigger Concord market just down the road.

Baseball families book summer weekends around Cannon Ballers games and youth tournaments.
Race fans looking for better value than Concord stay here during the big weekends at Charlotte Motor Speedway, a short drive south.
Researchers, contractors and visiting professionals working at the NC Research Campus often stay for weeks at a time.
Families visiting relatives, and fans tracing Dale Earnhardt’s hometown roots, fill in the rest of the year.
Many Kannapolis rentals are older homes with real character: original wood floors, small porches and cozy rooms. My job is to show that character while making the space read as clean, bright and comfortable. I lead with the best living space and the kitchen, then every bedroom so guests can count beds at a glance.
For longer stays, the workspace, laundry and storage matter too. I photograph them clearly so business guests know the home will work for more than a weekend.
Mill houses and older cottages photograph best with patient lighting and careful angles. Small rooms need the right lens height so they look open without looking stretched. Updated kitchens and baths get close attention, because they show guests the home has been cared for. A porch in soft light often becomes the photo guests remember.
Whatever the age of the house, every shoot focuses on your property itself, inside and out.
Real estate photos sell a house once. Airbnb photos have to win bookings over and over. I host short-term rentals myself, so I know which images guests save, which details they ask about, and how to order photos so a listing tells the story of a stay.
That matters even more in a value market like Kannapolis, where guests are weighing your home against similar listings in Concord. Clear, honest photos are what tip the decision your way.
Booking a Kannapolis Airbnb photographer shouldn’t be complicated, and with me it isn’t.
1. Book a date. Choose a day between guests, ideally a few weeks before baseball season or a race weekend.
2. Get the home ready. My guide on how to stage your Airbnb for a photoshoot covers the basics: clear surfaces, tight beds and every blind open.
3. Shoot day. I photograph every room, the exterior and the porch or yard, plus the small touches that make the stay feel cared for.
4. Delivery. Fully edited photos usually arrive by Dropbox within 24 hours (48 at most), ready for Airbnb, VRBO or your own booking site. Payment is due on shoot day, before editing begins.
Great photos work harder when they are used well. Lead with your strongest image, usually the main living space or a bright exterior, then a bedroom, the kitchen and any standout feature. Add a short caption to each photo so guests know exactly which room they are looking at.
Refresh your cover photo with the seasons, too. A bright summer exterior before baseball season or a twilight shot in winter can lift clicks without changing anything else. Every photo I deliver is edited and ready for Airbnb, VRBO and your own website.
An evening exterior with warm windows and a glowing porch light is hard to scroll past. I offer it as a twilight conversion from your daytime shoot, so there’s no second visit.
Pricing is based on square footage. The Pro package is $300 for homes up to 1,000 sq ft, and the Signature package is $825 for homes up to 2,000 sq ft, plus $35 for each additional 100 sq ft. Both include professional editing, with photos usually delivered within 24 hours. Twilight conversion and grass replacement are available as add-ons. See every detail on the pricing page.
As a Kannapolis Airbnb photographer, I work with hosts across the city, from downtown and the West Avenue area to the neighborhoods around the NC Research Campus, the older mill villages and the newer subdivisions on both the Cabarrus and Rowan County sides. I also cover Concord and Harrisburg, plus Huntersville and the Lake Norman area to the west.
Before you list, check the City of Kannapolis website for any local rules that apply to short-term rentals.
If your listing photos are dated, dark or taken on a phone, new photos are one of the fastest ways to stand out before baseball season and race weekends. Read what other hosts say below, check the common questions, and book a Kannapolis Airbnb photographer who hosts, too.
The Kannapolis rental market
A rebuilt downtown, minor-league baseball at Atrium Health Ballpark and NC Research Campus visitors bring new guests, and race weeks spill over from Concord. Many listings are older homes, so good light and staging do a lot of the work.

Every question is worth asking. Here are the ones I hear most — answered straight.
Yes. Older homes often photograph beautifully. I use careful angles and natural light so small rooms feel open, show off original floors and updated kitchens, and capture the porch in the best light of the day. Twilight conversion is available as an add-on.
Yes. For mid-term listings I photograph the workspace, kitchen, laundry and storage along with every bedroom, so visiting researchers and professionals can see the home works for weeks, not just a weekend.
Both the Pro and Airbnb Signature packages: 24–48 hours. Photos are delivered via a Dropbox link — download directly, upload straight to your listing. No chasing, no follow-ups. Payment is due on the day of the shoot before editing begins. Once that’s confirmed, the edit queue starts immediately.
This is one of the most important things you can do before shoot day. Staging matters more than most hosts realize — even the best photography can’t fix a cluttered countertop or a bed that isn’t made properly. The camera sees everything. I wrote a full guide on exactly what to do before I arrive: How to Stage Your Airbnb for a Photoshoot. Read it before your shoot day. Seriously.
Real estate photography is designed to sell a property to a buyer. Airbnb photography is designed to make a guest book before they even finish scrolling. Completely different goals. Real estate wants clean, neutral, and accurate. Airbnb wants warm, inviting, and experiential — it needs to make someone feel like they’re already there. The framing, the lighting approach, the choice of what to include and what to leave out — all of it shifts when the audience is a guest, not a buyer. If your listing looks like an MLS photo, it’s going to compete with every other listing. If it feels like a place someone wants to escape to, it stands alone.
Rather than scheduling a separate twilight shoot — which means more coordination, more time, and more cost — I offer twilight conversion as an add-on. Daytime exterior photos are converted into evening scenes with warm glowing windows and a beautiful sky. The result is realistic, effective, and a fraction of the cost of a separate twilight session.
Every single host I’ve worked with has seen improvement after the shoot. Guests decide in seconds. The photo either stops the scroll or it doesn’t. Professional vacation rental photography isn’t a guarantee, but it removes one of the biggest barriers between a potential guest and a booking. The listing does the selling — you just have to show up. Read more about why it matters.
Head to the booking page and fill out the short form. Takes about two minutes. If you have questions before committing, use the contact form — I get back to you the same day.
I regularly shoot across the entire Charlotte metro: Uptown, Plaza Midwood, NoDa, South End, Ballantyne, Huntersville, Cornelius, Davidson, Mooresville, Lake Norman, Concord, Harrisburg, Kannapolis, Waxhaw, Monroe, Matthews, Mint Hill and Gastonia. I also travel to Statesville, Troutman, Lincolnton and Rock Hill, SC. See the pricing page for details, and if you’re farther out, just ask.
There’s no fixed photo count — because that’s not how I work. The goal is to capture everything your listing needs to tell its story, not hit a number and stop. Smaller properties under the Pro package get complete coverage for the space. Larger homes under the Signature package get every room, every angle, every detail that matters — shot until the property is properly represented. What you won’t get is a set of 20 identical wide-angle frames that all look the same. What you will get is a gallery that covers the space the way a guest would experience it — from the moment they walk in to the corner they’d curl up in on a Sunday morning.
Let's make your listing the one guests can't stop looking at.
