Why Charlotte Pixels
I’m a real estate investor, an Airbnb Superhost, and I’ve been doing architectural photography for 15+ years. When I walk into your space, I already understand what guests are looking for — because I’ve been one.
I take on a limited number of shoots. Whether you found me on Google, through a referral, or a Facebook recommendation — every property gets my full attention, not a rushed turnaround.

Hari was Absolutely AMAZING! He came and took jaw dropping pictures of my Airbnb and it has been booked everyday since! He just has a knack for seeing the beauty in whatever room he’s photographing whether it’s in low light or vivid light. When I open my next Airbnb I will FOR SURE hire him to take those pictures as well!
Local Expertise
I’m Hari, a Mooresville Airbnb photographer focused on one goal: making your rental the one guests pick for their Lake Norman trip. I’m an Airbnb Superhost, a real estate investor and an architectural photographer with more than 15 years behind the camera.
Mooresville has more Lake Norman shoreline than any other town on the lake, and it calls itself Race City USA thanks to the NASCAR teams and race shops based here. Add a large corporate presence and a busy downtown Main Street, and you get a market where lake vacationers, race-industry visitors and business travelers are all booking at the same time.

Summer belongs to lake groups: families, friends and multi-generation trips that want water access, a big deck and enough beds for everyone.
Race-industry visitors, sponsors and corporate travelers book weekdays and longer stays all year. They care about a quiet workspace, a real kitchen and parking for trucks and trailers.
Fall and spring bring couples, wedding guests and families visiting relatives, often looking for a lake view without peak-season prices.
Guests decide in the first few photos. For a waterfront listing, that means the view from the main living space, the deck and the dock before anything else. For an off-water rental, I lead with the best gathering space, the outdoor living area and a clear exterior that shows parking. After that comes the sleeping count, room by room, then the kitchen, bathrooms and a few details that make the stay feel special.
I work with natural light so rooms stay bright and honest. Guests should arrive to the same home they saw online, which is how lake listings earn reviews that keep the calendar full.
Waterfront homes: the dock, the slip, the swim area and the view from inside, with exteriors timed for the best light on your side of the lake. I plan those shots around when the sun reaches your side of the cove.
Lake-access condos and townhomes: careful angles that make smaller spaces read as open, plus any private balcony or patio that comes with the stay.
In-town rentals near downtown: bright living spaces, a usable workspace and the driveway, because many weekday guests arrive with work vehicles.
Every shoot focuses on your property itself, inside and out.
For a look at how I approach a full Mooresville listing, from the first exterior to the smallest detail shot, see Expert Airbnb Photographer in Mooresville: Capturing Stunning Short-Term Rentals.
A real estate photographer is selling a house to one buyer. Your listing has to convince a new group of guests every week. I host short-term rentals myself, so I know which photos people save, which questions they ask, and how the order of images shapes their first impression.
On shoot day I walk your rental the way a guest would, from the front door to the dock. The final photo order follows that same path.
Working with me as your Mooresville Airbnb photographer takes four simple steps.
1. Book a date. Pick a day between turnovers. For lake homes I’ll suggest a time that puts the best light on your water view.
2. Get the home ready. Follow my guide on how to stage your Airbnb for a photoshoot: clear the counters, make the beds tight, open every blind and tidy the dock.
3. Shoot day. I photograph every room, the exterior, the outdoor living spaces and the details guests love.
4. Delivery. Fully edited photos usually arrive by Dropbox within 24 hours (48 at most), ready for Airbnb, VRBO or your direct-booking site. Payment is due on shoot day, before editing begins.
A lake house at dusk, windows glowing over the water, is often the cover photo that wins the click. I create that look as a twilight conversion from your daytime exterior, so you get the shot without paying for an evening visit.
Pricing is based on square footage. The Pro package is $300 for homes up to 1,000 sq ft, and the Signature package is $825 for homes up to 2,000 sq ft, plus $35 for each additional 100 sq ft. Both include professional editing, with photos usually delivered within 24 hours. Twilight conversion and grass replacement are available as add-ons. Full details are on the pricing page.
As a Mooresville Airbnb photographer, I work with hosts on the Brawley School Road peninsula, in Morrison Plantation, around downtown Main Street, along Williamson Road and in the coves all around the lake. I also cover the rest of the Lake Norman area, including Davidson, Cornelius and Huntersville.
Setting up a new rental? Check the Town of Mooresville website for any local rules that apply to your property before you list.
If your photos are a few years old, were taken on a phone or don’t do your view justice, new photos are one of the fastest ways to lift clicks and bookings before lake season. Read what other hosts say below, check the common questions, and book a Mooresville Airbnb photographer who hosts, too.
The Mooresville rental market
Mooresville has the most Lake Norman shoreline and a steady stream of race-team and corporate visitors to Race City USA. Lake homes compete on views; in-town rentals compete on location and parking for trucks and trailers.

Every question is worth asking. Here are the ones I hear most — answered straight.
I start with what guests come for: the water. That means the view from the main living space, the deck, the dock and the slip, with exteriors timed for the best light on your side of the lake. Then every bedroom, the kitchen and the gathering spaces, so groups can see how the home works for them.
Yes. Weekday and longer-stay guests in Mooresville want a quiet workspace, good parking and a kitchen they will actually use. I photograph those clearly alongside the bedrooms and living spaces.
Both the Pro and Airbnb Signature packages: 24–48 hours. Photos are delivered via a Dropbox link — download directly, upload straight to your listing. No chasing, no follow-ups. Payment is due on the day of the shoot before editing begins. Once that’s confirmed, the edit queue starts immediately.
This is one of the most important things you can do before shoot day. Staging matters more than most hosts realize — even the best photography can’t fix a cluttered countertop or a bed that isn’t made properly. The camera sees everything. I wrote a full guide on exactly what to do before I arrive: How to Stage Your Airbnb for a Photoshoot. Read it before your shoot day. Seriously.
Real estate photography is designed to sell a property to a buyer. Airbnb photography is designed to make a guest book before they even finish scrolling. Completely different goals. Real estate wants clean, neutral, and accurate. Airbnb wants warm, inviting, and experiential — it needs to make someone feel like they’re already there. The framing, the lighting approach, the choice of what to include and what to leave out — all of it shifts when the audience is a guest, not a buyer. If your listing looks like an MLS photo, it’s going to compete with every other listing. If it feels like a place someone wants to escape to, it stands alone.
Rather than scheduling a separate twilight shoot — which means more coordination, more time, and more cost — I offer twilight conversion as an add-on. Daytime exterior photos are converted into evening scenes with warm glowing windows and a beautiful sky. The result is realistic, effective, and a fraction of the cost of a separate twilight session.
Every single host I’ve worked with has seen improvement after the shoot. Guests decide in seconds. The photo either stops the scroll or it doesn’t. Professional vacation rental photography isn’t a guarantee, but it removes one of the biggest barriers between a potential guest and a booking. The listing does the selling — you just have to show up. Read more about why it matters.
Head to the booking page and fill out the short form. Takes about two minutes. If you have questions before committing, use the contact form — I get back to you the same day.
Yes — you can use them anywhere you’re listing your property. The photos are licensed for your use as the direct client across Airbnb, VRBO, Hipcamp, your own website, and anywhere else you’re marketing the listing. No restrictions on platforms.
There’s no fixed photo count — because that’s not how I work. The goal is to capture everything your listing needs to tell its story, not hit a number and stop. Smaller properties under the Pro package get complete coverage for the space. Larger homes under the Signature package get every room, every angle, every detail that matters — shot until the property is properly represented. What you won’t get is a set of 20 identical wide-angle frames that all look the same. What you will get is a gallery that covers the space the way a guest would experience it — from the moment they walk in to the corner they’d curl up in on a Sunday morning.
