Bold Tile, Warm Leather, and a Living Green Wall
This rental in the 28209 area of Charlotte is a great example of a home where every finish was chosen on purpose. The tile work and fixtures were some of the best I have seen, and the color palette ties the whole place together, from the blush kitchen backsplash to the deep green bathroom.
What Stood Out
- A living room with a cognac leather sectional and a lush green wall with a neon sign
- Light wood floors and recessed lighting that keep the space bright
- A white kitchen with blush tile running from counter to ceiling
- Floating wood shelves, a farmhouse sink, and brushed gold faucets and hardware
- Stainless appliances and a sleek range hood
- A bathroom wrapped in glossy green subway tile with a wood vanity and gold fixtures
- A built-in shower niche that shows off the quality of the tile work
Capturing Color and Texture
A space with this many strong colors needs careful editing. Green and pink can shift easily, and if they are off even a little, the photos lose the feeling of the room. I kept the greens rich, the blush tile soft, and the gold fixtures warm, so the photos look like the real thing.
I also included a few close-ups, like the curve of the gold faucet and the tile lines in the shower. Those details tell guests this is a well-designed, well-kept home and help it stand out among similar listings.
