Tucked right outside Charlotte, this 850 sq ft Monroe Airbnb proves that size isn’t everything—it’s all about how you use the space. From the moment I stepped in, the natural light flooding through every corner made my camera very happy. The layout feels warm and cohesive, with the dining table perfectly bridging the kitchen and living room for that seamless, homey flow every guest loves.

Both bedrooms are thoughtfully set up for comfort and productivity, each featuring a large computer desk for anyone working remotely. The kitchen is stocked with essentials, ready for a quick breakfast or a full dinner spread, and that small front porch? It’s the perfect spot to unwind and people-watch after a long day.

Making 850 square feet feel generous

Small homes need careful angles. Shoot too wide and the rooms look stretched; shoot too tight and they feel cramped. I photographed each room from the doorway or a corner at a natural eye height, so guests get an honest sense of space. The open kitchen with its bright counters and white cabinets reads as the heart of the home, with the dining table and living room right beside it.

Bedrooms set up for work and rest

Both bedrooms have a real desk, which is a big deal for remote workers and longer stays. I gave each desk its own frame so guests can see it is a proper workspace, not a corner table. The blue bedroom with the floral canvas and teal pillows got a symmetrical shot of the bed between matching lamps.

Outside the front door

The front porch, the side deck and the big driveway all got their own frames. For a home on a main road, showing easy parking and a private place to sit outside answers two questions guests ask before they book.
