Another gorgeous Airbnb property photoshoot by Charlotte Pixels for the Pretty Stays team! This 3-bedroom home has a splash of color and just the right amount of contemporary, minimal design to create a trendy feel. Every photo was taken with care to capture all the details. It was a time-consuming shoot and edit, but well worth it: another beautifully staged Airbnb photography project.
What stood out in this home
The kitchen sets the tone: sage-green cabinets, a butcher-block island and mustard-yellow stools, with a “Come as you are” sign that says a lot about how the space wants guests to feel. From there, the home moves between bold and calm, with a large statement artwork over the sectional, a cognac leather sofa by the fireplace and bright white walls that keep it all from feeling busy.
How I photographed it
With this much personality, the risk is photos that feel cluttered. I kept the compositions simple, shooting each room from the angle that shows its strongest feature and letting the white walls and wood floors give the eye a place to rest. Color stayed true in editing, so the sage, mustard and emerald tones look exactly as they do in person.
Details worth a close-up
- The emerald velvet chair at the writing desk in one of the bedrooms.
- A canopy bed styled with patterned pillows and a black throw.
- Open shelving and an entry with a coat tree and round mirror.
- Plants throughout, which add life to every frame without extra styling.
