A Family Home With a Movie Night Built In
This Charlotte family home, staged by Pretty Stays, is set up for groups who want space to spread out. It has plenty of bedrooms, a comfortable dining room for big meals, and a media room with a huge projector screen. The bright blue front door with a wreath gives it a cheerful welcome from the street.
What the Photos Show
- A classic exterior with brick and white siding, dark shutters, and a blue front door
- An entry with hardwood floors and a staircase with dark painted steps
- A media room with dark walls, a large projector screen, and a deep blue sectional
- A dining room with a long farmhouse wood table, fresh flowers, and a gold chandelier
- A fireplace with a round mirror above it, adding a cozy focal point
- A reading corner with a leather chair and floor lamp
- A bar cart styled with glassware and a plant
Showing Off the Spaces Families Want
For a group-friendly home, the photos need to answer two questions fast: where will everyone sleep, and where will everyone hang out? The dining room and media room are the stars here, so I gave them several shots from different angles. The long table, set for a meal, helps guests picture holiday dinners and family reunions.
The media room was dark by design, so I balanced it carefully to show the screen and seating without making the room look gloomy.
