I have done several shoots for pretty stays so far, but this happened to be my very best one. Don’t let the building look deceive you. I was pretty much addicted to keeping looking around and taking multiple exposures for this beautiful Airbnb property in Kannapolis. Airbnb photography and interior photography are very different than traditional real estate photography. Composition is key, and usually, as a Professional Airbnb Photographer, I get to see a dynamic composition from one or two angles. In this vacation rental property photoshoot, from every angle, I had something to appreciate. I spent an unusual amount of time on each shot, and I hope I did justice to the vibe I got from this property. If you like this story, share it with your friends. And don’t forget to check out pretty stays for your next staging opportunity.
Every Angle Had Something to Love
Usually, a room has one or two angles that really work. This Kannapolis home, staged by Pretty Stays, had something worth photographing from almost every direction. Bright white walls, light wood floors, gold accents, and a mix of colorful rugs made it a joy to work through room by room.
What the Photos Show
- A sunroom wrapped in windows with a hanging chair and plenty of light
- A black front door with a wreath that pops against the white walls
- A game and movie area with a large screen, foosball table, and cozy seating
- A living room with a gray sofa, mustard accent chairs, and a vibrant patterned rug
- A dining room with a white table, gray upholstered chairs, and a gold chandelier
- Shiplap walls and gray trim that add texture throughout
- A bedroom with a modern canopy bed frame, wood nightstands, and a statement wall clock
Why I Spent Extra Time on This One
Airbnb and interior photography are about composition more than anything. With so many good angles available, I took my time choosing the ones that best showed how the rooms flow into each other. I also took multiple exposures for each shot to keep the bright windows and white walls clean while holding the color in the rugs and accents.
The building itself is simple from the outside, which makes the interior even more of a surprise. That contrast is exactly why good interior photos matter so much for a listing.
