Professional Airbnb Photography: Capturing Authentic Spaces and Details for Hosts near Bojangles Stadium Charlotte NC

It’s not uncommon for Airbnb hosts to go through a few challenging experiences before finding the right airbnb photographer, and this particular photoshoot was one of those cases. The host had previously encountered issues with a property manager and worked with a photographer whose images didn’t reflect the true character of the unit. When they approached me, they were understandably cautious, but I was excited to help them get the quality photos their property deserved.

This project presented its own unique challenges, as the space was compact, requiring thoughtful angles that would showcase its features without misrepresenting the layout. Close-up, cropped shots might work well for larger spaces, but here, I focused on capturing every detail in a way that felt inviting and accurate for potential guests. The host was dedicated to highlighting every amenity, from the pull-out couch bed and fully stocked kitchen to the cozy workspace and hot tub. Despite capturing few redundant shots, the units being nearly identical front to back, subtle differences in setup made each one unique, and I worked to capture those distinctions thoughtfully.

My goal was to ensure that every detail the host carefully prepared for guests was highlighted in the photos. Whether it’s showing off the essentials or emphasizing the inviting atmosphere, these images aim to provide an authentic look at what this Airbnb offers. If you’re seeking a professional Airbnb photographer who will capture your STR property with care and accuracy, feel free to explore my portfolio and reach out to book a session.

Accurate photos in a compact space

When a host has had photos that didn’t match the real space, accuracy becomes the top priority. In a small unit, the temptation is to use the widest lens possible, but that makes rooms look larger than they are and leads to disappointed guests. I kept the lens moderate, the camera level and the angles honest, so a guest walking in finds exactly what they saw online.

The living room has a gray sofa, a yellow accent chair, a round clock on the wall and a glass coffee table, and I shot it from the corner that shows how the pull-out sofa fits into the room. The bunk room, with a black metal loft bed over a full bed, got a straight-on frame so guests can see how many people it sleeps.

Telling near-identical units apart

With units that share a layout, small differences in setup matter. I made sure each one has its own set of photos, so guests booking a specific unit see that unit, not a neighbor’s.

Details guests notice

  • A coffee table styled with board games, a book and the remote.
  • Framed art and a lamp beside the bunk beds.
  • A workspace and a fully stocked kitchen, each with its own frame.

If your current photos don’t match your rental, a reshoot can fix that quickly. See how I approach Airbnb photography in Charlotte or check the packages and pricing.
