The host clearly went above and beyond, paying attention to the little things that matter most—quality bedding, carefully chosen essentials, and even top-notch consumables. The space feels warm, well-balanced, and ready for guests to enjoy. It sits on a large driveway in a peaceful neighborhood that offers quiet comfort without feeling far from the city.

This property actually reminded me of a intimate wedding venue in Huntersville called Manjal Manor—a venue known for blending functionality with creative detail. Capturing this vacation rental was a real pleasure, and I hope these photos reflect the care and personality that went into making it a perfect short-term stay near Charlotte.

Photographing pattern and color in a small home

The wallpaper is what makes this home memorable: a teal damask wall behind one bed, a bold orange botanical print behind another, and a soft patterned accent wall in the living room. With patterns this strong, I shot each bedroom straight on, so the wallpaper reads as a clean backdrop instead of a distraction, with the bed centered between matching lamps.

The living room has a red-orange sofa and white accent chairs, with a mountain landscape print above a gold console. I photographed it from the front door so guests can see how the living room, entry and hallway connect in a home under 1,000 square feet.

The practical frames

Guests want to know the essentials are covered, so the white kitchen with stainless appliances and a kettle on the stove got its own clear shot, as did a small gold desk with an orange chair for anyone working during their stay.

Details worth a close-up

  • Orange ceramic lamps that echo the wallpaper.
  • Throw pillows with block-print patterns.
  • A blue front door with a wreath, visible from the living room.
