In recent days, I’ve been hired to do amazing Airbnb Photography in Charlotte and the surrounding areas. This particular photoshoot was a delightful experience. The colors of this cute Airbnb were vibrant, and the natural light streaming in was a sight to behold. The host informed me that there is no direct sunlight, making the space even more enjoyable and comfortable.
One of the standout features is the large garage door that serves as the back porch entry. Whether you leave it open or closed, it allows for a refreshing breeze and offers a top-floor view that feels wonderfully private. Located in the heart of Plaza Midwood, this Airbnb is a true gem. The host was incredibly gracious and shared many fond memories and positive stories about the property, all of which are reflected in the thoughtful design she created for her guests. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoyed capturing them.
Photographing a loft full of color
This Plaza Midwood loft is packed with personality: a teal leather sofa with mustard pillows, a hot-pink armchair, a red velvet chair, Persian rugs, a yellow bicycle hung on the wall and an orange ceiling that warms the whole space. The light is soft and even because no direct sun comes in, which made it easy to keep colors accurate across every frame.
The loft is open-plan, so I photographed it from several corners: one showing the sofa and the bike wall, one showing the kitchen with its wood cabinets and island seating, and one looking toward the glass garage door with the trees outside.
The garage door
The glass roll-up garage door is the feature guests will remember, so I shot it both closed and in context with the living room. It shows the privacy of the top-floor view and the feeling of fresh air coming in.
