Every now and then, as a creative airbnb photographer I walk into a property that doesn’t just try to stand out—it yells its personality loud and clear. This host took a classic remodeled ranch home and turned it into something unforgettable, not by chasing trends, but by unapologetically showing off his love for art. And let me tell you, it works.

Sure, Airbnb has been leaning toward luxury in recent years, but this place takes a different path. Instead of playing it safe, the host layered artwork into every possible corner—closets, laundry room, even spaces you’d never think to decorate. And you know what? I love it. Done wrong, it could feel overwhelming, but here, the art blends with the furnishings in a way that gives the space energy. That $1800 green couch framed by wall art? Absolute showstopper.

But this home isn’t just canvas artwork and pretty walls. Think 75” TVs in every room, sleek furniture, a PlayStation 5, and amenities that scream comfort without losing that artistic edge. It’s quiet on the outside, creative and bold on the inside—a balance that makes it an extraordinary short term rental. I wish I could share every single photo from this airbnb photoshoot, but hey, some things are better left as a surprise for the guests walking in.

So yeah, when a host puts artwork in the laundry and a PS5 in the living room, as a creative airbnb photographer my camera can’t stop clicking—and future guests won’t stop smiling.
Photographing a home full of art
When every wall has a bold canvas, the challenge is keeping the art the star without the rooms feeling chaotic. I framed each bedroom straight on with the bed centered under the artwork, so the paintings read as part of the design. Crisp white bedding, black headboards and matching lamps gave each frame a calm base for all that color.
The ceiling is a story of its own, with framed art set into the tray above the living area. I shot it looking up so guests see something they will not find in any other listing.
Details that set the tone
- Rolled white towels and a mustard or navy accent pillow on every bed.
- PlayStation controllers and a remote styled for a quick detail shot.
- Art even inside the closets, which I photographed to show how far the host took the idea.
- Blackout shades in every bedroom, a small detail light sleepers look for.
The outside matters too
From the street it is a clean white ranch with a long driveway and a big lawn. I shot the exterior in soft evening light so the home looks crisp and inviting, which sets up the surprise of what is inside.
