Photographing a home built for groups
For a group rental, the gallery has to answer two questions fast: where does everyone gather, and where does everyone sleep? The living room comes first, with a big sectional, a blue arched wall niche with art and a modern chandelier, then the dining table that seats a crowd under a row of pendant lights.
The game room and the outdoors
The game room, with a pool table, an arcade cabinet and sliding doors to the backyard, got its own frames because it is a big reason groups book. Outside, I photographed the patio seating against the brick house and the fire pit circled by Adirondack chairs under tall trees.
